A Welcome from Our Captains
Puckrup Hall Club Captain 2024 ~ Andrew Raistrick

On behalf of the Club, Committee and members, let me welcome you to Puckrup Hall Golf Club.

If you are a visitor, I’m sure you will find us to be a friendly and welcoming Club with excellent facilities.

Prior to playing, why not make use of our practice areas? These saw the addition of a new driving range in 2023.

Our challenging parkland course is one of the finest to be found with plenty of trees, water hazards and bunkers to keep you focussed.

Off the course you can enjoy our newly refurbished clubhouse and golf shop. You can also visit the main Hilton Hotel which has additional dining and leisure facilities.

To our members - it’s an honour to be your Club Captain for 2024. I am very much looking forward to the year ahead and I assure you that I will do all I can to ensure we all have a very enjoyable and successful year.

We have a busy schedule of events planned so I urge you to keep an eye on our new Club Website, diary and fixture list, to stay aware of what’s coming up.

The Club will be supporting some excellent charities this year. In addition to our continued support to the Myeloma and Help for Heroes charities, Carole Greenup (Ladies Section Captain) and I have chosen Maggies as our joint charity for 2024. Maggies provides support for cancer sufferers and, almost as importantly, their family and friends, and we will be linking closely with our local Maggies centre in Cheltenham.

Thank you all in advance for your kind generosity.

I look forward to meeting you all, through what I know is going to be a very enjoyable and busy year.

I wish you and your families a healthy and successful 2024.

Andrew Raistrick
Club Captain 2024

Welcome to Puckrup Hall Golf Club Ladies Section
It's my pleasure to welcome you to Puckrup Hall.
Our very friendly ladies section offers both competitive and social golf to ladies of all abilities. In
addition to ladies’ mornings on both Wednesdays and Saturdays, weekend competitions are open to
all members, with a mixture of all formats; singles, pairs and team events. During the summer
months there is also a fun Club Night on a Thursday evening.
We are also part of the Handicap League affiliated to the Cotswold and District Ladies Golf Alliance as
well as playing friendly matches against other local clubs.
If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from
you.

On behalf of the Committee of the Seniors’ Section of Puckrup Hall Golf Club, welcome to our section. We hope that you will enjoy our company and camaraderie and also hope you will be able to participate with us on a regular basis.
Our subscription of £10 runs from January to December in each year.
A copy of our Constitution is available if required, as is a copy of the Seniors Calendar for 2024. We have a Liability Insurance scheme in place which forms part of the £10 subscription. Again, further details may be obtained on request.
Our regular match day is a Monday and we operate a prepayment scheme for match fees. More details from the secretary.
This year, apart from our regular in-house competitions and fun events, we will be hosting friendly fixtures against 9 visiting clubs in the area and also running three Open events -singles, pairs and a Texas scramble. Our Opens secretary has more information on request.
My chosen charity for the year is Prostate Cancer UK.
